Steak certainly isn't a dish that's associated with traditional Indian cuisine, but this marvelous spicy Indian steak recipe proves that typically Indian spices can be married with a magnificent hunk of beef to create a delightfully flavored steak.

To prepare this steak, start by blending ginger, garlic and onion in a food processor. Then grind coriander, cumin and mustard seeds as well as salt in a spice or coffee grinder, before stirring into the onion mixture. Then heat the mixture on vegetable oil before using it to marinate the steaks for anywhere between an hour and a day -- the longer the marination period, the more flavor seeps into the steak.

The great thing about this spiced Indian steak recipe is that you can tone up or tone down the spice levels depending on your heat tolerance, meaning this recipe can be easily massaged to suit different preferences.
