Rather than creating something new out of nothing, David Steiner's In House project features a variety of dinnerware that's been crafted entirely from objects in his own house.
To craft the quirky tableware set, Steiner fashioned a a roasting cast from an embroidery hoop, which makes it so that objects could be spun around a mold. Items in the set include cork that's been given new life as a lathe, melted pewter turned into new utensils and even serving trays made from old rulers. In an age where it's so easy to 3D-print or buy something new, In House shows that greater gratification can be found by becoming a little bit more resourceful with what's around you.
