This Chain is Giving Away Free Donuts in Honor of National Donut Day

In Honor of National Donut Day, the New England-based chain Honey Dew Donuts is giving away free treats. National Donut Day is held on the first Friday of each June and this year many popular chains are getting in on the celebration.

On Friday, June 3rd, customers can visit any Honey Dew Donuts locations to receive a free donut with the purchase of a medium drink. However, the chain is not just giving away any donut. Honey Dew Donuts is specifically offering customers a Joe Andruzzi Foundation (Up)Beat Donut!, which was created in honor of an organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.

While the promotion was created in honor of National Donut Day, the brand has found a way to use the occasion as an opportunity to raise awareness for a good cause.
