Relationships and love have grown to be more consumer-driven and the iHeartUs app is hoping to help couples navigate this space using a proprietary algorithm. Dubbed the 'love language,' this algorithm involves users answering a set of questions related to love and uses these answers to define profiles and make personalized suggestions to strengthen connections. These suggestions can range from date ideas, gifts, special occasion reminders or just simple messages reminding users to cherish their partner. Aside from products, the iHeartUs app also features integration with Groupon. This integration allows the app to curate Groupon's date-centric offerings and offers those discounts directly to iHeartUs users.
Developed and created by Cassandra Soars, with the help of her husband, the app was inspired by real-life experiences the couple shared. While other apps aimed at being a couple's social network already exist, the iHeartUs app is separating itself from the pack with its 'love language' algorithm.
