The design of the Idol Hotel in Paris, France takes clear inspiration from music and the end result is a space that is both quirky and distinct.
The boutique hotel was designed to pay homage to neighboring companies, including the Municipal Conservatory of Paris and various music shops. The space was created by the hotel designer Julie Gauthron, who was inspired by funk, soul and jungle music from the 20th century in the process of designing it. There are 32 rooms in the Idol Hotel, each of which have a different theme and color palette that makes them distinct.
