'Identité' Uses AI and Big Data to Personalize Consumer Products

Identité is a new artificial intelligence concept from design company Seymourpowell that will give consumers the chance to get bespoke beauty product collections that are tailored to their specific wants and needs.

Unlike many subscription box services that feature assorted products curated by humans, Identité draws upon algorithms and big data to make smart product selections. With the app-based service, customers will be able to have the system tap into their schedule, exercise patterns and diet for the purposes of allowing Identité to anticipate one's beauty and skincare needs.

Identité takes several factors into account when making product selections: environmental factors, such as humidity and heat, personal information and popular, seasonal styles. With Identité, a consumer would receive a completely different set of products for vacationing in a hot destination to living and working in the city.
