Those who attending the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show are lucky in the sense that they get to see the Icona Vulcano in person. Icona is a Chinese-Italian company and the Vulcano is its first car, and what a car it is. The Vulcano is designed purely for speed. It comes in two engine types, each one capable of producing well over 800 horsepower.
The low-end version of the Icona Vulcano has been dubbed the H-Turismo. It has a twin-turbo V6 and two electric motors that deliver 870 horsepower to all four of its wheels. The high-end model is called the Competizione and sports a V12 engine and one electric engine that together bring 950 horsepower to the rear wheels. No word on pricing or availability, but it's a safe bet that the Icona Vulcano will be neither accessible or affordable.
