Laughing Faces on Ice Cream Packaging Confirm Deliciousness

When you’re having a bad day, this collection of super happy ice cream packaging is sure to pick you right up (as well as what’s inside them!).

These laughing ice cream containers were part of a Graphic Design final project for the Caldas da Rainha College of Arts and Design in Portugal. The student creator, Joao Ricardo Machado, designed the ice cream packaging with exuberant, joyous facial expressions mainly to appeal to kids and represent the fun and deliciousness of eating ice cream. I’m assuming it wasn’t meant for adults because we’ll grab anything cold and sweet—no happy faces necessary—when stress hits!
