ChickP Creates Dairy-Free Ice Cream Make from Chickpeas

There's an abundance of dairy-free ice creams on the market that are made with unique bases and this ice cream made from chickpeas stands out as an additive-free, dairy-free option. After debuting a chickpea creamer prototype during the summer, ChickP created a vegan ice cream with its signature chickpea protein isolate.

“Our ChickP Isolate ingredient answers consumers’ growing demand for vegan products with a dairy-like experience,” Liat Lachish Levy, CEO of ChickP, said in a statement, “Consumers, especially flexitarians, have become much pickier when choosing a frozen indulgence and will not compromise on flavor or mouthfeel."

The intention with this product was to create a non-dairy ice cream that rivals the taste, look and feel of dairy in a way that delivers the full sensory experience of real dairy ice cream.
