The i29 'As Good As New' Faux-Store at SPRMRKT in Amsterdam

The i29 'As Good As New' project kicks off the launch of the Dutch company’s new furniture line in the form of a pop-up shop. The new furniture line features secondhand and flea market products that are taken apart and made into something new.

To make a connection between the i29 pop-up shop and the furniture line, the company created the image of a dated living-room using a number of old secondhand items. They then covered everything in a gray matte industrial spray to create uniformity and make the furniture appear as an art piece, rather than just a display.

Within the i29 As Good As New pop-up shop, one can find seriously odd items littered among ordinary chairs, old-fashioned computers and chandeliers. One of these objects happens to be a garbage pale with an inquisitive head peeking out.
