Space10 Launched a Two-Week Pop-Up Space in Mexico City

IKEA's research lab, Space10, launched a two-week pop-up space in Mexico City to explore new design concepts geared towards a more desirable future. The hosted event will take place from March 26th to April 9th, 2022, at the LOOT exhibition space in Roma Norte.

Throughout the event, attendees have access to a series of talks, displays, hackathons, and more engaging activities. The pop-up is focused around a theme called Beyond Huma-Centered Design. It aims to encourage people to reimagine how design and technology can work together for a more sustainable future. Space10 will also unveil its latest project, Updatables, from its Everyday Experiments platform. Moreover, the research lab teamed up with the multidisciplinary creative studio Ninos Heroes to curate the space's layout.
