IKEA Unveils the Future Together Exhibition at MDW

Swedish retail giant IKEA celebrates its 80th-anniversary milestone at Milan Design Week with the Assembling the Future Together exhibition. It is an immersive experience that follows the company through its history and where it is heading towards the future.

The Assembling the Future Together can be found at Padiglion Visconti in Milan and it dives into its archives starting in the 50s. Designer and Chief Creative Officer at IKEA Marcus Engman speaks about the new installation to Dezeen. He states, "The whole exhibition is about the past, the present and the future. So it's a little bit like telling the story of IKEA furniture, things we have done and things that we will do even more."
