Hydrogen fuel pumps will soon be taking over Italy. European clean energy company Acta has announced their plans to create a network of solar-powered hydrogen fueling stations. The new pumps harness solar energy to produce hydrogen fuel from water through the process of electrolysis.
Hydrogen doesn’t require long recharges like batteries would and it makes emission-creating production lines unnecessary. Plus, it can work with another energy source like batteries. Hydrogen could become the alternative energy to batteries, which is just as necessary as an alternative to gas.
