Sculptural Energy-Harvesting Galleries

The Hydroelectric Sculpture Gallery is Otherworldly

The conceptual Hydroelectric Sculpture Gallery has been designed by Margot Krasojevic as a structure that will generate electricity to help harness power in a stylish manner. The architectural concept is intended for placement in the coastal city of Sochi on the Black Sea in Russia and utilizes an oscillating water column principle to harness the wave energy. The sculpture could produce up to 300kW of power, which would help to supply energy to 200 homes and businesses in the immediate vicinity.

The conceptual Hydroelectric Sculpture Gallery acts as an art gallery as well for the public to help make the structure as multifunctional as possible. The structure addresses the need for more biophilic architectural achievements to transition urban areas into the future.
