Natural Hummus Ice Creams

The Hummus & Pita Co. Launched a Set of Hummus Ice Cream Flavors

For National Ice Cream Day on July 15th, The Hummus & Pita Co. offered an unusual way for those with a sweet tooth to celebrate with its vegan hummus ice cream.

The inventive new non-dairy ice cream treats are gluten-free, all-natural and prepared with wholesome ingredients in flavors like Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry and Banana Almond. While The Hummus & Pita Co. notes that its new ice cream products do not taste like hummus, the treats are made with a base of chickpeas, tahini, dates and vanilla, as well as almond milk and coconut milk to create a consistency that reminds of non-dairy ice cream.

Previously, The Hummus & Pita Co. launched a sweet hummus shake in a variety of flavors, which is in line with many other food brands that are currently creating sweet chickpea-based snacks and desserts.
