Space Telescope Models

The LEGO Icons Hubble Space Telescope is a Brick-Built Display Model

The LEGO Icons Hubble Space Telescope is a 1,252-piece building set recreating the orbiting observatory as part of LEGO's adult-focused space collection. Launching on August 1, the model features removable exterior panels that expose an instrument bay containing brick-built gyroscopes and the primary and secondary mirror assembly. The telescope also includes an opening aperture door, adjustable solar arrays, and posable antennas that replicate key elements of the original spacecraft. A display stand with an information plaque and an astronaut minifigure complete the presentation model.

The finished build measures more than 32 centimetres high and extends to approximately 38 centimetres in length and width with the aperture door open. The removable shell allows builders to view the telescope's internal components while maintaining the recognizable cylindrical exterior for display. The articulated solar arrays and antennas provide multiple display positions without altering the overall structure.
