LEGO Space Exploration Telescope 3-in-1 set is a building toy designed to be rebuilt into three different models: a space telescope, a microscope and a UFO. The set includes 278 pieces that can be reconfigured using the same bricks across all three builds. The main telescope model features a tripod base and a small solar system display with rotating planets and interchangeable lenses that show images of planets, stars and the Moon.
A built-in light brick is included and functions across all configurations. When built as a telescope, the light projects celestial imagery through the viewing lens. In the microscope build, the light illuminates sample pieces placed beneath the lens, and in the UFO build it functions as a central beam. The set includes batteries for the light element and is designed for ages eight and up, with digital building instructions available through LEGO’s companion app.
