The world’s largest hanging basket has been created to mark the launch of new UK hotel, Hotel Indigo, in London Paddington.
The giant structure is 20ft wide and 10ft deep, weighs over a quarter of a tonne and includes over 100 different varieties of plants and flowers. The attention-grabbing stunt takes its inspiration from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and has been wittily dubbed, "The Hanging Gardens of Paddington."
Implications - With such an onslaught of harm done to the environment, modern-day consumers are looking for ways to prevent this any further. Products that are made through organic methods are appealing to customers who want to protect the planet without having to dedicate too much time to the cause. Companies could focus on this desire for environmentally friendly items to grow their appeal.
