Located in Kyoto the Housing in Onmae by VIDZ Architects boasts a grid-like look that is one-of-a-kind.
The cubic look of this apartment complex can be credited to the need for privacy as the surrounding area has many factories and public spaces. Thus, the resolution makes for a very modernistic concrete look that would please any architecture aficionado. The five-storey building ensures privacy for its inhabitants with its high walls and window spaces that are located in between the seemingly blocked facade.
The windows feature a translucent glazing to further promote the concealment of the apartment owners. Overall, this construction takes into account the needs of people who reside in the building whilst remaining architecturally fascinating with its intricate facade.
