The ‘House to Home’ Site Shows How to Make Playful Containers

This great project from the ‘House to Home’ site is a great way to re-purpose old jars. Instead of simply throwing them out, or using them as is, you can turn them into visually appealing pieces for the home or office.
In this case, plastic animals were used to help decorate containers for a child’s bedroom. All that is needed to achieve this look are some cleaned jars, plastic toys, a glue gun and some paint. Simply glue the toy of preference onto the jar lid, and then paint over it. This is an inexpensive way to add playful accents to your abode, as plastic toys can often be found at discount stores.
This project is incredibly versatile as it can be done with so many different themes. For example, if you want to spruce up your kitchen, one could get plastic fruits, veggies or desserts.
