McDonald's is Launching a Spicy McNugget Meal for Two In-Stores

McDonald's Sweden is launching what it is calling a "hot offer for two." The offer comes in the form of a digital coupon that can be redeemed in-store to receive a discounted price on McDonald's fan-favorite Spicy Chicken McNuggets, only in Sweden. This is a returning item that has been in constant demand from consumers since it last appeared on the restaurant's menu.

It is important to note, though, that the coupon must be activated by two people in order to become valid. This is done by one person scanning the other's phone with theirs, meaning the pair must meet up in real life in order to claim the offer. McDonald's Sweden released this promotion in order to encourage in-person dating and real-life interaction between individuals. This motion follows two years of reduced in-person dating and increased online dating as a result of the CoViD-19 pandemic.
