These new Homegrown Meats snacks have been announced as a series of edibles for consumers to pick up when seeking a snack that is high in protein and that features a clean ingredient list.

The snacks come in four flavors including 'Western Mesquite Barbecue,' 'Joel's Traditional,' 'Paleo' and 'Cracked Black Pepper,' which are all made with grass-fed beef. The snacks are gluten-free, made without nitrates or nitrites, are free of artificial colors and flavors, and don't contain any artificial sweeteners to make them suitable for consumers seeking a simpler prepackaged meat product.

The new Homegrown Meats snacks will be available for purchase nationwide from Whole Foods Market stores and address the increasing number of consumers seeking out premium prepackaged food products.
