'Smarke' Controls Home Access for Airbnb Users and Shared Properties
Michael Hemsworth — November 29, 2016 — Tech
Whether for those who use Airbnb or who live in a shared property, 'Smarke' is a way to help control home access remotely in order to keep security as tight as possible. 'Smarke' consists of a piece of hardware that is installed over existing locks (European style locks only, at present) and software that comes in the form of a mobile app.
Once installed, 'Smarke' allows users to setup access to authorized users during set time periods. This eliminates the need for guests to meet up with the homeowner in order to obtain a key and can make the entire experience more streamlined on both sides of the equation.
The 'Smarke' home access service system can be used for rental properties, shared properties and spaces, or by Airbnb users.
