The smart lock is targeted towards renters and is ready to be installed in 10-minutes using only a screwdriver, and doesn't require any new sets of keys to be used. The lock works by being positioned right overtop of existing locks where it will go to work providing Auto-Unlock and Auto-Lock features for easier access as well as security.

The Yale Approach Lock smart lock offers compatibility with a wide range of existing smart home ecosystems including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsun SmartThings and more. The brand is also slated to provide Matter support in the near-future.
