Every year, RBC rewards its Avion cardholders with a unique holiday experience in selected malls in major markets across Canada. The RBC Avion Holiday Pop-Up Boutique is designed to provide valued RBC customers with a place to escape the holiday shopping chaos and relax for a little while before heading back out to join the hoards of mall-goers. In each of these pop-up boutiques, Avion customers are treated to several perks intended to make holiday shopping a little easier on everyone. Cardholders are offered valet parking, free coffee and Wi-Fi, gift-wrapping services, as well as a relaxation lounge featuring a piano player.
RBC works with its agency, Match Marketing, as well as the Toronto-based design and fabrication firm, Holman, to bring the boutiques to life. In the months leading up to the holiday season, a vacant retail store-front at each mall is selected and undergoes a complete redesign. Each boutique is customized to the space to provide visitors with a unique experience at each location.
RBC also runs social media contests where visitors can win some of the most coveted gifts of the season.
