A high-ceiling apartment in Kiev, Ukraine is refurbished to take advantage of its good layout. The overhaul of the P.26 Apartment is headed by architectural studio 2B.group who harnesses a polished contemporary industrial aesthetic for the interior. The ceiling reaches approximately 20 feet in height and due to its favorable positioning, the apartment boasts 180-degree views of the surrounding city.
2B.group embraces these features and looks for ways to optimize and accentuate their impact. As a result, the high-ceiling apartment is basked in natural light thanks to the strategic layout arrangement. The public spaces are concentrated "along the exterior with its window-filled walls," while the master bedroom is accessed "through a sloped wall of framed windows."
