The Time Barrel Project Celebrates the Hennessey 250th Anniversary

In celebration of the Hennessey 250th Anniversary, the French cognac brand has released a special edition blend, a world touring historical exhibit and a digital time capsule project. The unique touring exhibit is a chance for the longstanding brand to re-educate consumers on its heritage and unique history.

The time capsule project involves individuals digitally toasting the brand's milestone on social media by sharing an image and a message to a geotagged interactive map. The unique social media engagement strategy connects the brand with individual consumers through Facebook and an email capture. A winner from the Hennessey Time Barrel entrants will receive a tour of the brand's routes in France.

Also apart of the Hennessey 250th Anniversary celebrations, a Time Barrel exhibit providing an interactive history of the brand will be touring globally beginning in China in April 2015.
