The Gunes Peksen 'Wave House' is a conceptual design plan for an incredible monochromatic abode. Done entirely in white, the structure has been envisioned by the Turkish designer to suit distinctive lifestyles. While the domestic setting has yet to be built, whoever does adopt the blueprints will certainly become the owners of an unmatched framework.
Just as the title suggests, the Wave House is meant to imitate ripples of water. The angular structure does in fact unfold just as waves do: cascading from the inside out. The small pool set within the interior furthers this aquatic theme.
Peksen's reference to lifestyle considerations is rare. Architects have the ability to gloss over the needs of particular individuals, and yet, this engineer has done everything he can to emphasize them.
