Seattle-based photographer Griffin Lamb has captured the wanderlust beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Admittedly inspired by the landscapes of Washington, Lamb travels to places such as the North Cascades in order to capture snow-covered mountain peaks and chilly beds of water.
Displayed in Lamb's portfolio are free flowing waterfalls, dark collections of rocks, shimmering rays of light and natural backdrops that appear as if entirely untouched by humanity. While most of the images are markedly barren, some feature a single figure standing solemnly in the shots.
Although the topography is constantly changing in each picture, what remains the same throughout is a tangible sense of peace. The locations come across as untouched, providing optimal spaces for reflection, relaxation and calm.
