Located in Beijing, Cafe 27 is a charming new greenhouse cafe that was designed by Shanghai-based Four O Nine. Boasting a creative organic menu and a stunning supply of natural lighting, Cafe 27 is situated within a glass building that former housed a greenhouse.
The new "healthy" building design includes both exterior and interior walls lined with potted plants and Douglas fir panels that match similar tables and chairs. The overhaul of the former greenhouse cafe featured the addition of several features to an adjoined building. New features added to increase uses for the space include a new facade, terrace dining room and a whiskey bar.
Cafe 27 is a charming and aesthetically pleasing example of green architecture and of spaces designed to stimulate one's senses.
