A Los Angeles-based startup recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for a line of cold-brewed coffee infused with grass-fed butter. Butter coffee is unique concoction originally developed by Dave Asprey. The belief is that adding grass-fed butter to coffee can help to boost cognitive performance and promote weight loss.

While consumers can make butter coffee at home, this startup wants to make it even easier to enjoy the potent beverage. 'Grass Fed Coffee' combines cold brew coffee and grass-fed butter in a ready-to-drink can. The coffee used is Fairtrade and infused with ingredients such as organic chicory and distilled medium-chain triglycerides for an added boost. According to the company, the drink can help to curb an individual's appetite, burn fat and boost energy levels.
