Being the first ground-up commercial project David Howell has taken on in his 25 year career span, the design meant a lot for him in terms of having to prove himself again.
The exterior remains pretty minimal, featuring unassuming, mocha-hued brickwork. The The understated exterior makes it hard to differentiate from its neighboring lofts. Far from being bland, it makes the home seem humble and unpretentious.
Howell's wife and partner at David Howell Designs, Steffani Aarons, was responsible for bringing the interior to life with her incredible design work. Aarons curated a collection of exceptional art work and one-of-a-kind home accessories to add another layer of texture and dimension to the home. The generously-sized windows provide ample amounts of natural light to enjoy her inspired decor.
