SKOG Eyewear, a sunglass design company, and LATA 65, an art initiative, have teamed up to release 'Graffiti Grandmas', a line of sunglasses designed by the elderly. The glasses are based on SKOG's most popular products, but they've been covered in splatters of spray paint courtesy of the seniors who participate in LATA 65's art workshops.
LATA 65 has worked with seniors around the world to bring typically youthful art media, including graffiti, to people of older generational cohorts. The group partnered with SKOG to harness this creative and produce an appealing product.
The Graffiti Grandma glasses are all hand-sprayed by one of the people in LATA 65, meaning that each pair is completely unique. They come in two different base materials, and there are four paint colors to choose from.
