Unlike his previous design, 'The Present,' which represented the four seasons, the new design by Scott Thrift is a gradient clock that does tell time -- but still more creatively than most.

The Today gradient clock has the appearance of all the colors that can be seen in the sky in a 24-hour day -- blue, a white to pale pink that are reminiscent of the sunrise and sunset and deep blues that are intended to look like the night sky. This beautiful sky-like clock only has one hand, has no numbers and instead of rotating twice in one day, it only rotates once. This means that the bottom of the clock represents 12 in the morning rather than six in the evening.

The purpose of this slow-moving clock is to remind the user to be inspired by creativity rather than timelines in the workplace and at home.
