Google Photos Stabilize is a new feature on the ubiquitous photo storage and editing app that solves one of the inherent problems with everyone having a camera in their pocket.
One of the problems with using a camera on a smartphone is that its difficult to keep steady when taking videos -- everyone has had the experience of watching a smartphone video on YouTube and feeling almost nauseated by the constant shaking. Google Photos Stabilize automatically adjusts video files to correct for shakiness, creating smoother videos.
To access Google Photos Stabilize, users simply need to download the latest update. The Stabilize function itself will be visible once the user opens a video, and activating it is as simple as pressing the button.
