Ocean House, the iconic seaside resort on Rhode Island, is launching a first-of-its-kind gondola experience in North America that is centered around dining.
The culinary concept pop-up transforms a former ski cable car into a luxurious, cozy winter getaway, complete with radiant heated custom wood floors and plush seating. For added comfort, guests will also be able to borrow Columbia Titanium outerwear from the brand's Extreme Eco down jacket line.
On the luxurious 'Fondue Express' gondola, guests will be treated to a three-course menu and champagne from Veuve Clicquot. The Alpine-inspired prix fixe menu put together by Ocean House's team of culinary experts includes options such as Swiss raclette, cheese fondue, Black Forest ham, cornichons, vegetables and Swiss plum tart with cinnamon ice cream.
