Couture Nun Captures

Glassbook Magazine's La Religieuse Editorial is Inspired by Church Attire

Photographer Thomas Sing captures Glassbook Magazine's "La Religieuse" editorial exclusive. The image series features model Nina Kunzendorf at Louisa and wardrobe styling that is courtesy of Danny Luxe.

Danny dresses his model muse in couture church attire that ranges from robed coats, veiled headpieces and leather harness accessories that are a sacrilegious translation of the traditional nun wardrobe. Inspired by religious imagery, this fashion story defies convention and makes an iconic uniform chic and sultry as opposed to covered-up and unflattering.

Make-Up and hair for this image series is the work of Vangelis Tzimikas who compliments the editorial's black, white and red-accented wardrobe with his beauty looks. Glassbook Magazine's religious photo series highlights the fashion world's unlikely inspirations and proves that holy styles can be haute and fashion-forward.
