This Gillette Ad Features an NFL Player and his Father

This Gillette ad features the San Francisco 49ers' football player Solomon Thomas, and his father Chris.

The ad shows Thomas watching a video of his father, as his father talks about how proud he is of his son – not only for his professional accomplishments, but for the compassionate person he's become. A particularly touching quote in the ad is when Chris states "some people wait their whole life to see their favorite player play, I raised mine." After watching the video, Solomon and Chris meet and hug, while the Gillette ad states "your big days are dad's big days, from first shave to first game."

The commercial is part of a series that features other professional athletes as well, including O.J Howard and his father Kareem, and Marshon Lattimore and his father Marland.
