An organization dedicated to combating discrimination, racism and bullying of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in schools, summer camps, and workplaces across Canada is launching a short film, The Clinic, in support of inclusive healthcare for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. According to a recent survey, "45% of Transgender and Non-Binary people had a past year of unmet health care needs, compared to 4% of the general population." This film hopes to change these statistics.
The short film is launching during Transgender Awareness Week on November 15th ill be available to access as an educational tool for health practitioners, as well as members and allies of the 2SLGBTQ+ community to aid in the fight for inclusive healthcare.
