Smartwatch Music Streaming

Garmin Watches Will Now Be Able to Run the Amazon Music App

Garmin smartwatches will now be compatible with Amazon Music. The new music features will be coming to all models of Garmin smartwatches, where previous music apps were only rolled out to select models. The Amazon Music app can now be downloaded using the Connect IQ store. Users are able to download music over Wi-Fi to store and save music for later use.

Garmin has had a history of adding music streaming apps onto its platform. Previously the company has entered into agreements with Spotify, Deezer, and iHeartRadio to add music streaming onto the smartwatch platform. Since Garmin produces fitness-focused smartwatches, adding as much music content as possible will complement the watch, since many people listen to music while working out.
