Garmin introduces its latest ECG App, which is exactly as it is described to be. It is able to study the heart rhythms of a user and look out for symptoms of atrial fibrillation. If there are any signs of problems that are picked up by the wearable, the results are synced with Garmin Connect to create a report that can be shared with healthcare providers.
The app is currently available to those who own the Venu 2 Plus in America due to updates. The company does note that it is rolling out plans to add support for other devices and throughout different countries as the time comes depending on approval. Notably, this is the first app that Garmin has cleared with the US Food and Drug Administration.
