The Creators of 'Dots' are Releasing a Game with a Female Protagonist

Though many women play mobile games on the go, it can still be difficult to find games with female avatars that aren't being projected in an overly sexualized way in 2017.

One such exception has been the mobile game 'Dots.' The game is addictive in nature, and features graphic, punchy colors. The company behind Dots (which has garnered the number-one spot on the App Store) just announced its newest gaming endeavor 'Wilds.' Details are limited as the game isn't set to be released until late 2017, but director Margaret Robertson promises a game with female avatars and protagonists. "We wanted to make a game with a strong female character who is on a mission. We think women will relate to it more, because they'll see themselves as the woman in the leading role."
