Nike is offering its fans more creative control with the Gakou Flyknit -- a kit of rubber stencils that enables users to customize their sneakers as they please.
Consumers are growing tired of sneakers printed with the same logos in the same places. To incite spontaneity among the design industry, Nike introduced a kit which comes with several rubber stencils that allow the owner of the sneaker to decide the color, size and placement of the logo. The shoe kit is so dedicated to customization that it gives users the ability to purchase a completely unbranded designer shoe.
The Nike Gakou Flyknits, which are available in white and black, are accompanied by the personalized stencils, serving as the first time Nike has allowed for complete, at-home customization.
