DIY Fruit Roll Snacks

This Three-Ingredient Snack Will Remind You of Your Childhood

A childhood snack is getting a healthy makeover with this DIY fruit roll-up recipe.

This simple recipe needs three things -- fresh fruit, honey and lemon juice. To make your DIY snack you first have to combine three cups of your favorite fresh fruit with two tablespoons of honey, and one tablespoon of lemon juice.

Put all the ingredients in the food processor and blend until you get a smooth consistency. The next part of the recipe requires a bit of patience. First reduce the mixture on the stove for about a half hour. Pour the mixture on a baking sheet and spread evenly. Place the sheet in a 200 degree oven, for about three hours, or until the mixture isn't sticky to the touch.

Once it's done cooking, place the mixture on parchment paper and let it cool completely before cutting, rolling and of course, eating.
