Blended Icy Matcha Beverages

Rita's Frozen Matcha Comes in Three Flavor Options

Rita's Frozen Matcha has been added to the brand's menu with icy springtime refreshment in mind to work well for the increasing number of consumers who are gravitating towards the matcha flavor profile.

The drink incorporates the brand's Vanilla Italian Ice alongside green tea flavor to offer an alternative take on the umami taste profile that's inherently creamy and icy. The drink comes in three flavor options to choose from including Original, Caramel and Strawberry, which each encourage consumers to find their favorite.

Senior Vice President of Marketing Insights and Innovation Carmela Hughley commented on Rita's Frozen Matcha saying, "At Rita’s, innovation starts with listening to our guests and understanding how their tastes continue to evolve. We’re always looking for new ways to expand our menu with flavors and formats that feel both relevant and uniquely Rita’s. Frozen Matcha is a direct result of that focus — bringing a popular beverage flavor into our signature frozen experience.”
