This shrewd marketing campaign from the Frozen Dutch ice-cream brand, will be appreciated by fans of design and slick art-direction everywhere.
When the company wanted to promote a range of new flavors they enlisted the services of Wynne Veen to photograph the nine new flavors and writer Zack McDonald to create some interesting short stories based upon the delicious taste of these new flavors. The images feature ice-cream scoops sloppily thrown on-topo of ice-cream cartons, with the flavor sticker visible.
The result shows just how successful an advertising venture can be when one thinks out of the box. If this visually striking campaign hasn't got you drooling on your keyboard and longing for summer, then you're not looking at them right!
