Ghetto Gastro & AWAKE NY Join on the Food, Clothes, Shelter Capsule

AWAKE NY works in collaboration with Bronx-centric Ghetto Gastro on a charitable project entitled 'Food, Clothes, Shelter.' It is set to drop in two separate releases and it features an event and a limited edition collection that all come together to celebrate Black History Month. It aims to bring stronger bonds in the community and the event features a 'Feed the Community' program located at La Morada Restaurant in the Bronx.

The event will run all day and is set to provide 100 meals to those in need within the community The collaborative project also highlight clothing that follows the same thematic suit. It draws inspiration from “cultural and political icons of the African American and Afro Latinx communities.” The capsule features graphics that reference the Bronx, the slogan that reads "BLACK POWER KITCHEN," and Stokely Carmicheal.' The event is set to take place on February 21st and the apparel is set to drop on the following day.
