The Folded Roof House has a roof that takes its inspiration from the wings of a butterfly. From the center, the roof slopes gently upward on either side. Inside the home, the raised and angled ceilings create a spacious and interesting interior.
The Folded Roof House was designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune. It is located outside of Stockholm in a heavily wooded area. The natural surroundings seem to have also been the inspiration for the interior decor. While modern, the decor uses splashes of green--like the trees--to add color.
