Jan von Holleben doesn't need fancy photo editing to create his 'Dreams of Flying' magic: It's all in the perspective. Enlisting the neighborhood children, he sets the scenes of vine swinging, broom riding and group outer space cycling just like in the movie 'ET,' all flat on the ground. The photographer says that he was inspired by "classic childhood books as well as modern superheroes."
Holleben has just completed the second volume of 'Dreams of Flying' and a 2009 calendar, both available on his website. He makes his home in South West Germany.
