Flower-themed displays have recently taken over the windows of London's Selfriges. The sudden explosion of beautiful and elaborate floral installations is done by Apple in promotion the Apple Watch.
In all of Selfridges' 24 windows, a distinct display is set up, all of which are contrasted by a simple Apple Watch logo in black coloring. Each of the windows is meant to highlight different versions of the Apple Watch, including Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch edition.
The flowers are made from a variety of materials and technologies. Some real flowers used range from 200 millimeters to 1.8 meters in height. One of the installments used photographed yellow poppies, which was then the inspiration for the massive hand-painted display.
This is the first time in history that all of Selfridge's windows are dedicated to one product. In many ways, the meticulous display is representative of Apple's history, its attention to detail and its constant growth.
